Maumere, SANPUKAT News – Students held a discussion about children’s rights. Discussions centered on children’s experiences in the family, in the community, and at school. In addition, each student wrote his experience on paper. This activity was accompanied by the SANPUKAT Tutor for Ovhy Bai’s KINDERMISSION activities at SDK NANGARASONG, Saturday (7/02/2023) afternoon.
The SANPUKAT tutor stated that this discussion aims to make children aware of their rights in the family, in the community, and at school.
” This activity is carried out with the aim that children know their rights at home, in the community, and at school. Children’s rights are such as: the right to receive attention from parents, the right to get a clean environment, and the right to get knowledge”, said one of the teachers at SDK NANGARASONG.
Meanwhile, a student at SDK NANGARASONG Elisabeth Stefania Ade expressed her joy in participating in this activity. This activity makes children aware of their rights at home, in society, and at school.
“I like this activity. This activity helps me recognize children’s rights in the family, at school, and in society. So far, I did not know about children’s rights, but now, I know children’s rights”, said one of the participants in the activity.
The activity lasts one and a half hours. The children filled the activities with discussions, sharing their experiences at home, at school, and in the community. These stories lead to the fulfillment of children’s rights or vice versa. In addition, children are given the opportunity to write about their life experiences. All activities run smoothly and orderly. (Cr).
